Verdict

Waaheb makes a quick reappearance after unseating Mark Walsh at the ninth here on Tuesday when in contention. He wouldn't be risked unless sound and his form over hurdles gives him an obvious chance of gaining compensation. There must be some doubts about his participation, however, so AS DE FERBET looks the safest option. Willie Mullins' charge has now finished runner-up in four of his five starts over fences and has been an odds-on chance in his last two but has probably come up against decent opposition and is taken to finally get off the mark. Tiger Bay Lady is held by the selection on their placed efforts at Kilbeggan and though Shantou Flyer made a bright start over fences at Limerick in May, a bad mistake put paid to his chances at Downpatrick on his only subsequent start over the bigger obstacles. Winning bumper and hurdler Clondaw Farmer has a superb pedigree for jumping fences and is one to note for the future.
