PISCEAN Has a good record fresh and at the track and Tom Keddy's gelding is fancied to see off a strong challenge from Even Bolder and Our Piccadilly. The selection didn't flourish towards the end of last season however his early season form was strong. He has won three races over this course and distance and seeing as his latest win (almost a year ago) came off a 2lb higher mark, there is a good case to be made for him from a handicapping point of view. Osiris Way is another course winner and he looks tremendously well-handicapped as he makes his seasonal reappearance, whilst Absa Lutte is a tremendous looking mare and she has held her form well all season. A win at Folkestone last time suggests she should handle a unique course like this and she is far from written off despite a 6lb higher mark. Ocean Blaze has shaped as if a win isn't too far away in two recent outings; with the yard in great form she is fancied to run well. Cerito should come on for a Wolverhampton run last time out, Our Piccadilly has a great record here and looks fairly handicapped, whilst Even Bolder also runs the slope with aplomb and his good young jockey is good value for his claim. An open handicap, but Piscean looks worth a bet.
