Verdict

Richard Hannon has a good record in this and no doubt he could have found an easier opportunity for the Coolmore-owned newcomer WENTWORTH. The 200,000gns purchase boasts some fancy entries including the Dewhurst and makes most appeal of the three East Everleigh runners. He'll need to be above average though as Improvisation made a promising debut behind Ghurair, fifth in the Vintage Stakes here on Wednesday, and Steeler was only beaten a head for the in-form Johnston yard on his debut at Haydock. Martial Art and Country Western also went close last time while better is expected from Hoarding after a modest first effort at HQ. Kyllachy Rise is a half-brother to the useful Tamerillo and is another newcomer to note in what looks a hot maiden.
