Verdict

LANDAMAN is progressing at a rate of knots and wasn't unduly troubled to win a much tougher handicap than this here on Tuesday when beating Las Verglas Star. An apprentice negates his penalty and Mark Johnston's charge can go in again. It was soft ground when My Lord scored over a shorter trip at Sandown last time and the same conditions when Jawhar finished a length ahead of Borug at Newmarket. The latter makes more appeal over today's longer trip while Tuscania is upped in class after an improved showing at Doncaster. Robemaker is proving hard to win with and Karaka Jack was still beaten five lengths when runner-up at Ayr last time.
