Verdict

It is hard to be dogmatic with so little to work on but Pagan Rules is suggested ahead of Inside Straight and Divine Right. The players are as follows. A 75,000 guineas purchase, Follow The Flag has to be of some interest; Inside Straight cost 25,000 guineas and hails from the Richard Hannon yard; Novista cost 20,000 guineas and cannot be dismissed on breeding; Pagan Rules cost 115,000 euros and has plenty to like on breeding; Paymaster General showed some promise on his debut over course and distance following a slow start; Victory Spirit is a John Dunlop-trained half-brother to seven winners, although this son of Invincible Spirit cost only 9,000 guineas; Divine Right is a 110,000 guineas son of Observatory, and Sepia Print certainly cannot be dismissed based on pedigree. It all adds to a tricky race to fathom, and possibly the betting will provide your best guide. Without this, we will opt for Pagan Rules.
