Verdict

Shifting Star was the shock winner of this last year but hasn't won again in 17 starts. He's 9lb lower in the weights and has a 7lb claimer on board so another surprise is possible. ROYAL REYAH started off in good form at this time last year but then disappointed. He's been gelded and reappeared with an impressive victory at Warwick so should be capable of even better and is taken to complete the double. Polar Kite has obviously benefited from a change of scenery as he's been in fine form since joining Sean Curran and he's won off higher marks than this in the past. Take A Note completed a hat-trick last summer but hasn't been seen since September and Good Authority looks more of a threat after a fine effort over a mile at Ascot where he was narrowly beaten into third.
