Very few three-year-olds have run in this and none have won in the seven renewals. That doesn't bode well for Richard Hannon's pair Wentworth and Annunciation. The former is the choice of Richard Hughes, though the form of his closing run at Newbury in September hasn't worked out particularly well while the latter ran poorly when favourite at Hamilton earlier this month. MISS LAHAR was performing with credit in pattern race company in 2011 but didn't reappear until Chester a fortnight ago where she wasn't disgraced. She looks well handicapped if back to something like her best and is given the nod. Prodigality seems best with a bit of cut in the ground and is high enough in the weights at present.
