    Verdict

    A very poor turnout but a tricky one for punters to unravel. Disclaimer has plenty to do on official ratings but he's improving so fast that he's likely to go up in the ratings at some stage whatever happens today. CONTRIBUTER came up against a really smart performer in Epsom-bound Magician in the Dee Stakes at Chester and made a go of it but just couldn't find the necessary pace. The extra furlong will suit and he's given the nod over Fantastic Moon, a Group 3 winner at Sandown last September but mainly disappointing since though at a much higher level than this.
