A few decent but out of form types in this contest make this risky as a betting medium so with some reluctance, PRINCE OF LIGHT is the pick with Dark Prospect and Suzi Spends as the alternatives. This season has been a poor one for Prince Of Light, but if one were to factor a previous run at the track behind Bomber Command, he would still have to be worthy of consideration. Dark Prospect hails from a yard that are sending out winners left, right and centre of late. He doesn't win by far so the handicapper has trouble keeping up with him. Suzi Spends is in receipt of plenty of weight all around. Jimmy Quinn deputises for John Egan. Mujaddel fluffed the start on his most recent outing. Nevertheless, that was an improvement on what had been witnessed this season. Sky Dive looks as if he might keep things to himself a little more than we'd like. Angel Rock is sent back up in trip in search of the winning thread. Mahadee is not without hope on a similar step up. He won well at Southwell and was not disgraced here over a mile. Plenty of possibles and we take a leap of faith about Prince Of Light.
