Verdict

Mezuzah,Eboracum and Imperialistic are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Mezuzah. The selection showed improved form when making all to beat Double Ransom last time out and although he has a penalty for that, he won with plenty in hand and having been successful off a higher mark in the past and under his optimum conditions, will be hard to beat. Eboracum rates the main danger on his latest win over Showtime Annie but although he has gone well in the past on a fast surface his victories have come with more cut in the ground and for that reason he is passed over. Imperialistic is another worthy of respect on his best form but he has been in the handicapper's grip of late. Sea Storm was a fair third behind Les Arcs last time and is another with place claims especially as the return to this longer trip will suit. Of the remainder, Buddy Brown is one of the least exposed in the field and is from a shrewd yard so is another to note in the market, but for the winner we return to Mezuzah.
