Verdict

Doc Hay would have a chance if taking part but was engaged to run at Carlisle yesterday. Carrie's Magic won a claimer over 6f here three weeks ago but this is tougher and SHARP SHOES makes more appeal. He bids for his hat-trick here after a couple of wins over C&D and is worth sticking with in his current mood given he has a win on soft ground to his name. Ann Duffield's sprinter has beaten Ingleby Star on the last two occasions they've met and Ayr winner Tadalavil is returning from a lengthy absence. Your Gifted disappointed on soft going at Chepstow on Monday and still carries a 6lb penalty for her earlier win at Thirsk.
