Verdict

Inxile is a smart sprinter at his best but may struggle carrying a penalty for last year's victory in pattern company. MORACHE MUSIC could be the one to take advantage as he's been thereabouts in decent sprints this year including an excellent fourth in Wokingham at Royal Ascot last time. A repeat of that effort would make Peter Makin's sprinter hard to beat in this. Both Alben Star and Sos Brillante have plenty to find with the selection but Doncaster Rover could figure at his best as he won the 2009 renewal of this contest and failed to handle bottomless ground at Newcastle last week. Nasri is easily dismissed on today's terms however.
