In depth

Verdict

RUDEMEISTER has placed on five out of six chases, including excellent efforts in open handicap company. He goes especially well on testing tracks so Hexham should suit and he's taken to land a deserved success. Bafana Choice jumped well when runner-up at Cartmel in hunter chase company over the recent Bank Holiday weekend and that experience should stand him in good stead here, whilst Dun To Perfection and Bygones Of Brid make most appeal of the chasing recruits. The latter is especially noteworthy as he was the best of these over hurdles and it will be interesting to see how he fares over the larger obstacles returning from an absence.
