Supporters of TEENANDO got no run for their money at Kelso when Sue Smith's charge tipped up at the second fence but those free of short memories will note that Teenando had been a dual winner at Carlisle previous to the aforementioned blip. Ground conditions are much different to the surface on which he achieved both wins which is the unknown. Thai Vango will be suited by stepping back up to three miles. He was second on his penultimate start here behind College Ace who has since franked the form. Top-weight Prince Of Persia looks reasonably treated relative to his hurdle mark. He can be expected to benefit considerably for his Exeter run as that was following a long break off the track while the winner has franked the form subsequently with a runaway victory in a Newbury event. South Bank has been dropped to the mark which he last scored off, at this venue over hurdles in March. He travelled very well into the straight at Kempton but ultimately tired. That run was when the yard were going through a winless spell but they appear over that problem. The maiden Kedgeree showed definite promise last time here and is another contender but Teenando is taken to put behind the disappointment of his fall last time and make it three wins from four starts.
