Verdict

Market Trend, Queen of Iceni and Gold Queen are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Market Trend. The selection showed plenty of promise in each of his four runs to date last season and with this step-up in trip bound to play to his strengths he is taken to score. Queen of Iceni was a beaten favourite when last seen out at Newmarket when she finished in mid-division behind Read Federica. She is another who will be suited by the step up in trip but she may be better on a faster surface and for that reason we will take her on. Gold Queen showed a game attitude to beat Musical Day last time and she is clearly going the right way so is another for the shortlist. The other two runners Key of Solomon and Jaamid have shown they have ability so it would be no surprise to see them go well, but in a tight race where the market may provide the clues, we will give the vote to Market Trend.
