In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Novestar,Lord's Bidding and Gunnadoit and the narrow vote is given to Novestar. The selection won well last time out when beating Supporting Role and although rising in the weights he looks progressive and he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Lord's Bidding rates the main danger on his latest second behind Warming Up he could improve for the fitting of a first time visor and he should be watched in the market. Gunnadoit was fouth behind the selection last time out and looks sure to improve especially as he should appreciate this longer trip. Of the others Yes Meg hails from a yard in form and is another to note in the market but for the winner we return to Novestar.
