Verdict

Malanos, El Mansour and Samarkand are the only ones without a win in a really competitive contest. Action Front, Western Prize, Ruby Brook and Antarctic all made winning debuts with the latter just preferred given his stable won this race last year. Area Fifty One was allowed to make all and ran out the clear winner of his maiden here last time, but a chance is taken on further improvement coming from BALTIC LIGHT. She showed an impressive turn of foot to leave her rivals for dead in the final furlong over 1m3f at this track last month and the daughter of North Light should be capable of better still over this extra furlong.
