    Verdict

    MIDNITE ANGEL is hard to oppose on her return to action. Competing in much better company last year after winning her maiden, she has 13lb in hand with her nearest rival and should come out best. Queen Of Ice made a winning start in soft ground at Newmarket in November and could prove the biggest threat to the selection given Joie De Reve beat little when landing the odds at Wolverhampton last month. Acclio has plenty to find on these terms and is easily overlooked.
