In depth

Verdict

NOBLE SILK was beaten only a head by the higher rated Castilo Del Diablo in a conditions race over track and trip last time. Oisin Murphy's claim should give him the edge in this and Lucy Wadham's charge can confirm running with the other leading contenders, Clowance Estate and Sir Graham Wade. The latter was having is first start since July on that occasion so it would be no surprise to see him go close while White Nile returned to action with a cosy win over course and distance and he has more scope than Shwaiman. The remaining pair look up against it in a competitive affair.
