Verdict

Benfleet Boy kept on well over 2m4f at Ffos Las three weeks ago when chasing home Shoegazer, finishing ahead of Rollwiththepunches in the process. But he might struggle to dominate this much bigger field. Mr Hudson failed to justify favouritism in a novice hurdle at Exeter last month, but there was a lot to like about Ocean Transit's Ludlow win though he looks vulnerable off a 6lb higher mark here. Higgy's Boy has been running better than his form figures suggest and Ostland will have needed his run at Leicester, where he was close up for a long way. But this looks a good opportunity for COUNTY ZEN, who has benefited from the switch back to hurdles this season and caught the eye when fourth in a better race at Sandown earlier in the month.
