In depth

Verdict

Denis Hogan won the inaugural running last year with a 66/1 chance and The Pine Martin will probably start at huge odds here. COMEHERE HI had looked a likely future winner when runner-up here last month and though subsequently beaten at Bellewstown her saddle slipped and the run is best ignored so she can get off the mark. Meadowlands has shown some ability on the level and ran her best race to date over timber at Cork on Sunday though Sam King looks the main threat. He has been making gradual progress and his second to Cillian's Well at Tramore gave notice of an imminent victory.
