High Nellie finished runner-up over timber at Limerick in May but her rider failed to weigh in so she was disqualified. The front-running Paddy Gunzales made a bold bid over the track and trip last time and didn't succumb until a furlong out while Tt's Star also attempted to make all at Tramore but had no more to give when Bluegrass Princess easily went past. They could set the race up for JOHN MONASH as Gordon Elliott's four-year-old wasn't suited by a slow pace at Ballinrobe but stayed on strongly in the closing stages and this looks his trip. Taras Call made an encouraging start here last month and with further progress likely is by no means out of this.
