Verdict

Steps To Freedom, a Grade 2 winning bumper and hurdler, has become extremely disappointing and hasn't won since February 2013 though he ran quite well over fences at the Galway Festival and would have to be considered on that form. Zigger Zagger was narrowly beaten on his chasing bow at Down Royal in March where a couple of mistakes put paid to his chances. A recent run over hurdles will have put him right for this and he should win races this winter. The lightly raced and progressive Georges Conn will have gained from the experience of his chasing debut at Ballinrobe but this can go to PINK COAT, who wears a visor for the first time. He's been a bit disappointing since a short-head defeat by Shadow Catcher on his debut over fences at Limerick but hopefully the headgear will have the desired effect.
