Verdict

Dual bumper winner Blossom Gate has been a disappointment so far over hurdles but there's plenty of time to make progress and he only weakened from the last on his reappearance at Wexford in May. SOME FIDDLE is improving and would very nearly have won at Downpatrick but for a mistake when challenging at the second last. The extra furlong will be a help and he gets the nod as Combustible Kate looks as though she needs further than this and Music On D Waters has been looking very one-paced though she gets all the allowances and should be thereabouts.
