Verdict

CAIRNSHILL stepped up to this trip for the first time when coming here last month and proved a revelation, winning a handicap by a massive 18l. Not surprisingly he's been hit with a 10lb rise but providing the ground doesn't quicken he can defy the extra. Whatever It Takes won here last summer and has only had two runs this season so he should be approaching his peak and goes on the shortlist. Station Closed had won three of her previous four before stepping up to this trip at Bellewstown and pulling up. That wasn't her form and she can do better while Chosen Hour gained a surprise but convincing victory at Tipperary and should make a bold bid to defy 8lb extra. The maiden Itsallhappening started favourite in that latter event but didn't get very far while Queeny took advantage of soft ground to score over the course and distance last month and further rain would put her in the picture. The veteran Brave Deed hasn't run since scoring at Exeter in March and has changed stables but his trainer knows how to get one ready.
