In depth

Verdict

Riviera Sun looks best of Henry De Bromhead's pair having won here in May and run well on quicker ground at Downpatrick. Black Zambezi has really found his form having completed a double on this track over 2m4f. He's up 9lb and has never been this far though there's no reason why he shouldn't stay. Definite Soldier was a couple of lengths behind tonight's rival Rock On Fruity at Limerick and will be 6lb better off though the winner is more likely to be suited by the longer trip. Back in third that day was Phil's Magic, who was staying on strongly but has yet to win in 14 starts over fences. BAILY MOON has started to get the hang of jumping fences and has won his last two starts over the bigger obstacles. He had Supreme Vinnie almost seven lengths behind at Limerick but the latter was having only his second run over fences and can get closer at the revised weights.
