Verdict

A race to treat with caution and LE GRAND AMOUR is only a token selection. Fongoli is entitled to have come on from her debut and has to be in with a major shout at this level, while Amatara is not hard to overlook on the evidence available and looks the stable's second string today. Jaubertie has an ordinary pedigree but, as this is hardly the strongest event of the day, she could take a hand if Bill Turner (as can be expected) has her primed for this belated introduction to racing. However Le Grand Amour ran much better than her finishing position would have you believe at Newbury last time out. And as she is open to improvement over this trip it's the Barry Hills-trained filly that can be fancied to cope the best today.
