Verdict

VICTOIRE DE LYPHAR won a seller over course and distance last month and has handled heavy going in the past. This is his level nowadays and his latest sixth at Beverley looks the best recent form on offer. Yourartisonfire drops down a couple of grades and has won on soft ground but it's a year since he showed any worthwhile form. Our Boy Jack also has his sights lowered while Mount Shamsan's stamina could come into play and he'll be helped by his rider's 5lb claim.
