        Verdict

        The feature event of the day where Al Qasi should prove too good for these on his seasonal debut. The winner of the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh last season, all his winning is over six furlongs however, connections opted to have a tilt at the Hong Kong Mile on his final start last season, suggesting this seven should not prove too much bother. He does go well fresh which is a further incentive. Confuchias revels in testing ground conditions but might just be in need of the outing and the market is best watched with regard to his chances. Captain Marvelous found the ground too testing at the Curragh but could be the main danger to the selection with that run under his belt. Al Qasi is the selection to land the Leicestershire Stakes on his seasonal debut.
