        Verdict

        Harvest Joy gets the nod after a fine winning seasonal debut when wearing down her rivals in the later stages of a 1m 2f handicap to win going away. She has slipped to an attractive mark and although up 6lb for that, she will take all the beating. Harry The Hawk appeared a fortuitous winner at Beverley last time as the runner-up Blue Spinnaker failed to get the run of the race while Sendreni should be monitored in the market hailing from the Michael Wigham yard. He was very disappointing in a Lingfield seller on his British debut. Smirfy's Silver appears best on a quicker surface but is another that could not be left from calculations. Harvest Joy is selected to land win number two this year.
