Verdict

Very little can be ruled out in a tough handicap. Edge Of Sanity came with a late run to score over 1m4f here last month and found dropping back in trip against him last time. Carried has found his form at Dundalk but is still better rated on the all-weather while Truthwillsetufree has run her best races over this trip. Melanippe landed a Dundalk handicap easily but has been raised an astonishing 18lb and has never tackled this trip. This could be a question of whether GIANT'S QUEST is ready after a break as he was in superb form last summer with victories on the Flat and over hurdles to his credit. He doesn't look badly handicapped and with Colm O'Donoghue booked he's taken to make a successful reappearance. Silk Hall and Hurricane Jojo are other strong contenders in an open contest.
