Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this with Fame And Glory and Yeats in recent years and is double-handed this time with Eye Of The Storm and Venus De Milo. The former will be heading for the Gold Cup after this but is badly weighted with MISSUNITED on their run in a Listed contest at the Curragh when the latter was attempting to concede 6lb and was beaten less than a length. Michael Winters' charge looks well in and can see off the other Ballydoyle entry Venus De Milo, who was last seen in the 'Arc after chasing home The Fugue in the Yorkshire Oaks. Tarana is progressing at a rate of knots and did very well to beat El Salvador and the useful Inis Meain in a Listed contest at the Curragh. Most of the remainder are in good form but up against it in this company.
