Tony Martin wastes no time bringing out Artful Artist after last week's Down Royal victory but a massive 15lb higher mark tempers enthusiasm for a repeat. Carenza's only success came on this track but she's 10lb higher and unraced since January. Six Silver Lane is in top form but has been raised 11lb for his latest victory at Dundalk and though he should get into the action it's XSQUARED, who was having his first start since scoring over hurdles last summer when a close third at Naas last month, who is handed the verdict. Cairdiuil doesn't win often but is on a reasonable mark so should go well but Hoppsan is having her first start since winning at Dundalk in November. Naoise hasn't been in the best of form but he's capable of a big run if anywhere near his best.
