Gordon Elliott is going for this in a big way with seven entries while Willie Mullins has a quartet of runners. There are no real jockey clues to the former's entries but Jack Kennedy looks to have acquired the plum ride on A Toi Phil. The seven-year-old is still a novice and has been competing at a very high level throughout his career over hurdles and fences. A Grade 2 winner in November, he's found stepping up beyond him in his last two starts and is making his handicap debut. Rolly Baby is the pick of Ruby Walsh so presumably the champion trainer's number one. A useful novice last term he was a 33/1 chance under an amateur on his reappearance and will undoubtedly strip much fitter here. Lake Takapuna is a progressive young chaser who overcame traffic problems to score over 2m1f here last time. He looks the type to win good handicaps and shouldn't be far away. STELLAR NOTION attempted to make all in the Paddy Power here last month and only succumbed in the closing stages of that three mile trip. He's found his form and providing the ground doesn't become testing can regain the winning thread.
