In depth

Verdict

An interesting contest with MISSY TATA defending a long unbeaten run and looking a potential star. Gordon Elliott's mare has won six races since a close fourth in the 2016 Fred Winter. Her path eased when today's rival Moyhenna fell on her chasing debut at Fairyhouse but she looked in control at the time and should take care of Denis Hogan's mare again, though a clear round can see the latter make a race of it. Redhotfillypeppers deserves to take her chance at this level after a winning start over the bigger obstacles on this track and, like the selection, she has the scope to go on to better things. Dawn Shadow has been having problems with her jumping but she has some decent form if managing to get round.
