EDE'S DOT COM is the token suggestion in a trappy opener in which the recent efforts of The Cayterers and Bavarica earn them places on the short-list. The selection has rarely been tried at this trip and hasn't excelled in his previous efforts at around this distance but did look in need of the step up last time. That run came over seven furlongs at Kempton but it's his form at this track that offers encouragement for his chances here. The Cayterers comes into the race in fine form and he will be fancied to maintain that run but he steps up in trip here and has to cope with the inevitable rise in the weights and the combination could find him out. Bavarica has plenty of good track form to his name and should give it a go but his winning form has come over further which counts against him here. Wavertree Warrior is dangerously well handicapped and could be running into a bit of form but we'll take a chance with Ede's Dot Com.
