    Verdict

MUNFALLET failed to land the odds over 7f here on his return to action. He'll be sharper today with first-time blinkers helping his cause and gets a chance to make amends. Dark Leopard also disappointed last time having gone close on his debut in soft ground at Newbury while Garraun found only one too good when sent off favourite on his racecourse debut at Kempton in December. Throw in the likely improver Mutawathea, as well as the newcomer Dorset Gift, and the selection won't have things all his own way in an open contest.
