The Hannon yard won this last year and also with the top-class Dubawi Gold in 2011. 2000 Guineas hopeful BARLEY MOW can follow suit having run well for fifth behind Karakontie in a Group 1 at Longchamp in October. He's clear of the competition on today's terms, although Sloane Avenue is something of an unknown quantity at this level. Frankie Dettori partnered him to an easy debut success at Lingfield in February and we'll find out more about him today. American Hope was beaten only a head in Listed company over 7f here a fortnight ago when Bow Creek was well beaten. He should go well again and makes more appeal than Zampa Manos, who has plenty to find at the weights.
