In depth

Verdict

Centreboard and Rowan River are interesting newcomers but Fly Time sets a fair standard and Mick Channon's youngster is hard to oppose. The selection has twice found one too good in three starts, latterly when chasing home Slipasearcher over six furlongs at Bath. The return to the minimum trip should not inconvenience the daughter of Fraam, who gets the vote to gain an overdue first success. She Wont Wait has shown ability, including over course and distance, but needs to improve to trouble the selection while Mark Wallace's Shreddy Shrimpster showed only a modicum of ability first time out. Roger Charlton's Centreboard is a likely type on pedigree but may need more time, while Rowan River comes from a yard that is hardly known for their great success with debutant newcomers. Fly Time has an obvious chance though and is hard to oppose.
