In Hope has been running consistently well of late and is entitled to be thereabouts again but Ernst Oertel's filly may once more have to settle for a minor role and preference is for Good Companion, who gets the vote ahead of Shopfitter. The last mentioned is another that has been running consistently of late and Christine Dunnett's colt has to be respected having been dropped to a fair mark; he is preferred to stablemate Master Malarkey of the two Dunnett runners in the field. Sapphire Storm ran better at Catterick last time and receives weight all round so cannot be discounted, especially if able to translate Catterick form to this surface. Make My Dream faces no easy task giving weight away all round on his reappearance and of more interest may be Jim Boyle's Mamichor, who may be better than he showed last time. The vote though goes to John Dunlop's Good Companion who is less exposed than most and is entitled to improve for his two previous runs this term.
