In depth

Verdict

Ile De Re won the Shergar Cup Stayers Handicap at Ascot and though he's shown promise in two starts over hurdles may do better with a more strenuous test of stamina. Winning point-to-pointer Handsome Harry is another who will appreciate a slog as he was staying on over 2m5f at Uttoxeter on his hurdling debut and Flat winner Nemo Spirit would prefer heavy ground. Five-times Flat winner Becausewecan will improve from his hurdling debut at Catterick and George Baker will have winning point-to-pointer Good Old Paul ready despite a long absence but THE TRACEY SHUFFLE looks the one to be on. David Pipe's charge is related to a host of decent jumpers and showed in winning bumpers at Musselburgh and Newcastle that he could be a force to be reckoned with over timber.
