In depth

Verdict

Snow Patrol has sunk to a very low mark and this won't take much winning while Dar Es Salaam began this season's campaign off 13lb higher and surely can't go much lower than this. Rhythm Seeker won a poor contest at Market Rasen on Boxing Day but hardly picked his feet up at Southwell a few days later. My Viking Bay has reached a place just once in 15 career starts - at Huntingdon last week - but in the context of this race it isn't bad form and he looks the main threat to LAJIDAAL. Gary Moore's charge wouldn't want any more rain as his only success over timber came on fast ground but he's run respectably on both starts in recent weeks and this looks within his capabilities.
