Verdict

Our shortlist here contains Danger Zone, Perfect Story, Fashion House and Highest Regard and we will side with Perfect Story. Let's run through these and, back on the all-weather Solanich might fare better, while Pink Bay is fairly weighted. Moon Bird is running well and looks competitively weighted based on her Wolverhampton form over seven furlongs, and she acts here. Sound That Alarm debuts on the all-weather today and maybe has a bit to prove. Midcap also debuts on Turf and is gradually being given a chance by the handicapper. Sir Mark Prescott's Spectait has to be considered, and maybe the market will guide, and Danger Zone is just a pound above the mark from which he won at Folkestone last time so, of course, a repeat of that on Polytrack brings him into it. Three runs of promise give Perfect Story a good shout here, with, surely, better to come, while Fashion House is another that has to be respected from the Saeed bin Suroor stable on her British all-weather run. Highest Regard got reward for some consistency when winning here over a mile last time, and a five-pounds higher mark should not stop him from running well. Finally, Red Affleck has yet to recapture his two-year-old form which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Perfect Story.
