With some of the bigger yards represented, this should be quite a hot maiden, but Mutamared apart, the others look pretty ordinary. With just the one outing under his belt, where he finished behind stablemate Parhelion at Nad El Sheba, Mutamared can be expected to improve, although he wouldn't need to, to see these off. This should prove little more than a piece of work and he is taken to prove too strong for some disappointing rivals. Masonry hasn't built on a couple of promising outings as a juvenile and has plenty to prove after beating just one home in an ordinary Windsor maiden, while Super Song's best effort came in a poor Folkestone maiden, in which nothing has come out of the race and won. Stokesies Boy would be better off in a handicap, and Flame Princess has been beaten in sellers. Queen Chief may be the one to follow the selection home. She made her debut in quite a decent maiden at Newmarket's Guineas meeting, where she ran well for much of the seven-furlong trip. Four winners have come out of the race and she can be expected to have improved in the meantime. However, she faces a smart rival in Mutamared and will have to settle for second place at best.
