EPSOM SALTS is put forward in the hope that stepping up to two miles will bring about the necessary improvement to encounter his slight rise in the weights. Azabu Juban and Rock Soleil bring smart recent form into the race and are also likely players. Epsom Salts racked up a hat-trick of victories before finishing second on his last two starts. It is worth considering that his latest effort was achieved in unfavourable circumstances, those being he was drawn very wide and as a result his rider could not adopt his more favoured front running position. His style of running over 1m 4f suggests this two mile trip should not prove a problem. Azabu Juban should be better suited to reverting back to the polytrack. She continues to hold her form well and her presence means that Epsom Salts will not have to make the running. Rock Soleil made his UK debut last time. Formerly trained by Andre Fabre, the two mile trip here will suit. Prince Zafonic was behind Azabu Juban last time and there is no reason to suggest that form should be turned around.
