    Verdict

FREMEN is the call with Dichoh and Smokey Rye put up as the most obvious dangers. The Lincoln Handicap would have been on the cards a season ago for the Dandy Nicholls charge but at the ripe old age of nine, connections have decided to chance their arm in plating events in the hope that he does not attract too much interest for elsewhere. Dichoh is not as he once was. This claimer looks a fair bit stronger than the one that he managed to pick up at Wolverhampton. Smokey Rye is in off a light racing weight. Matthew Davies is a very capable 7lb claimer if he can get down to the ultra-light weight. Magnitude has offered little since leaving William Haggas. Art Market has it to do at these terms. A race of limited betting appeal but Fremen looks the most able of these to produce his form at present.
