Brandywell Boy deserved his success over the in-form Lord Of The Reins at Kempton last time and a 4lb rise for that success looks perfectly fair but the runner-up let the form down last week and a better bet may be Calabaza, with Gimme Some Lovin rated the pick of the remainder. The selection lacks any experience of the surface but that should not be of any real concern and John Akehurst's gelding ended the turf season in good form so is taken to carry that form over to the Polytrack. Brendan Powell has his string in good from right now so his runner Who's Winning has to be respected but he may struggle to give weight away all round, while Jim Best's Mine Behind has not been the most consistent of performers of late but has slipped to a fair mark. Make My Dream is capable of taking a hand in the finish but has only won one race from 31 career starts so is hard to back with any confidence. Gimme Some Lovin is less exposed than most of these and should be thereabouts but Calabaza still looks well treated and is preferred.
