Convallaria, Palais Polaire and Imperium are three against the field in another tight handicap and the narrow nomination is given to Convallaria. The selection was a fair fifth behind Quantam Leap last time out, that horse has since ran well under a penalty and under conditions that suit he looks a value bet. Palais Polaire rates the main danger on his best form but consistency is not his strong point and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Imperium is another that could go well, he loves the track but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Joy And Pain could go well from a good draw but he will need luck in running. Of the remainder Hannahbecc is from a shrewd yard and should be watched in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Convallaria.
