    Verdict

Ron Harris has saddled the winner of this race twice in the past four seasons and TITUS GENT is fancied to gain a deserved success in an open race where Decency and Mr Skipiton complete our nominal short-list. The selection may have top-weight to shoulder but he comes here at the top of his game and has won from similar marks in the past. He's bounced back to form since teaming up with Kirsty Milczarek for whom he has only finished out of the frame once in five starts and the pair look sure to go close again from their high draw. The booking of Seb Sanders for Mr Skipiton takes the eye and it's encouraging that he hit form at this time last year as he's slipping down the weights to a mark from which he should be competitive. Decency also has a leading jockey in the plate and has her first run for Harry Dunlop since leaving brother Ed for whom she won twice; Richard Hughes was on board for the last of those wins and she should go well but Titus Gent can prevail.
