Firm Foundations led to the second last in a handicap here on Tuesday and should find this maiden less daunting. He can make a bold bid along with Paintmaker, who has yet to reach a place in six starts over timber but has finished fourth in decent company at Galway and Roscommon recently. Regal Ambition showed promise in bumpers but was well beaten on his hurdling bow at Killarney so this can go to the Willie Mullins/Ruby Walsh partnership via LAUGHING BOY, who scored on the flat at Fairyhouse in June and ran quite well in the Amateur Derby at Epsom last time.
